Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine has forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee from their homes, mainly women and children who have left everything behind.
They are now refugees and are in desperate need of basic supplies like clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, hygiene items etc.
People in this country have been very generous and donated a huge amount of supplies. The problem is transporting the supplies to the areas where they are most needed.
Slenderpane have organised transport to deliver supplies to Poland where the majority of refugees have fled. We intend to make one trip each month.
Each trip will cost in the region of £1000.00 for fuel and ferry costs. Any donations to help towards these costs would be very gratefully received.
The world must stand with the people of Ukraine.
