I’m sure you are all aware of the conflict in the Middle East which is having a significant affect on the cost of oil here in the UK. This in turn, will have a large effect on our manufacturing and distribution across the UK. We are, at present, not increasing our delivery charges.
With the introduction of the energy surcharge some years ago we can adjust the increases in fuel that we buy. Currently this figure stands at 0.23 pence per KG but as we have seen a large spike in the cost of fuel this price will be increased to 0.30 pence per KG as of 01/04/2026. This will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
We try and keep our energy surcharge to a minimum, but when unforeseen circumstances arise, we must change the surcharge accordingly over the coming weeks we will constantly check the cost of fuel and make changes when needed.
